Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 21, 2026

Kommandr OS (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the reseller operating system at kommandros.com and any related applications, browser extensions, hosted storefronts, and APIs (collectively, the “Service”). This Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the limited circumstances in which we share it. By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

This Policy covers two kinds of people: Sellers who run their resale business on Kommandr OS, and buyers who visit or purchase from a storefront powered by Kommandr OS.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information Sellers provide

  • Account credentials (email address, password hash, name)
  • Business profile (business name, category, location)
  • Listing content you upload (titles, descriptions, prices, photos)
  • Templates and message snippets you create
  • Contacts and conversations you keep in the built-in CRM and inbox
  • Billing details, collected and processed by our payment processor (Stripe). We never see or store full card numbers.

1.2 Information buyers provide

When you buy from or contact a Seller through a Kommandr OS storefront, we collect the contact details you provide (name, email, phone), your order and shipping/pickup information, the messages you send the Seller, and standard technical data (device/browser, pages viewed). Payment card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe.

2. Where Your Data Is Stored

Kommandr OS stores account, listing, CRM, order, and storefront data in Supabase (our hosted database and authentication provider) and runs on cloud infrastructure in the United States. Payment information is handled by Stripe. We use scoped service keys, row-level security, and per-user access controls so that one Seller’s data is not exposed to another.

3. The Kommandr OS Browser Extension

The Kommandr OS browser extension is the engine that lets the Service post on your behalf on the marketplaces you already sell on. It runs inside your own logged-in browser, using sessions you are already signed into. Here is exactly what it does and does not do:

3.1 What the extension accesses

  • Your own marketplace sessions — it reads the existing login state (session cookies) on your own Facebook Marketplace and OfferUp tabs so it can post and manage listings as you, without you ever handing us a marketplace password.
  • Page content — it reads listing data (titles, prices, descriptions, photos, locations) on those marketplace pages so it can copy your own listings when cross-posting and find deals that match the filters you set.
  • Your Kommandr OS account link — it stores a session token so the extension can connect to your kommandros.com account, plus your settings and filters.

3.2 What the extension does NOT do

  • It does not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or any unaffiliated third party.
  • It does not use your data for any purpose unrelated to its core function — cross-posting your own listings and finding deals you asked it to find.
  • It does not read or touch any site outside the marketplaces and the kommandros.com domain listed in its permissions.
  • It contains no remote code — all logic ships inside the installed package.

3.3 Your control

The extension only acts on a marketplace after you connect that session, and only within the limits and schedule you set in the dashboard. You can pause it, disconnect a marketplace, or remove the extension at any time, which immediately stops all activity. Removing the extension deletes its locally-stored token and settings.

4. AI Processing (Fletcher)

Some listing text and structured fields may be processed by AI providers to draft listings and messages, classify items, and suggest replies. This runs through Kommandr OS’s own AI features (Fletcher). Our AI providers do not retain prompts or completions for training under their commercial terms, and we do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

5. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service (cross-posting, deal scanning, storefront, CRM, messaging)
  • To process and fulfill storefront orders and send order updates
  • To authenticate you, detect abuse, and protect against fraud
  • To send transactional emails (account, billing, security, order receipts)
  • To send marketing messages only where you have opted in
  • To respond to support requests and comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for behavioral advertising.

6. SMS & Email Consent

If you opt in to text messages, we use your number to send order updates and, if you selected it, occasional offers. Message and data rates may apply; frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not stop transactional email needed to complete your order or operate your account. Marketing emails include a one-click unsubscribe link (CAN-SPAM compliance); transactional emails (receipts, security alerts) cannot be opted out of because they are required for the Service to function.

7. Sharing

We only share information with:

  • Service providers who run our infrastructure — notably Supabase (database/auth), Stripe (payments), our hosting provider, and our SMS/email providers — under contract and only to the extent needed to operate the Service.
  • The Seller you purchased from, if you are a buyer, so they can fulfill your order and respond to you.
  • Authorities when legally compelled (subpoena, court order). We will challenge overbroad requests where lawful.
  • Acquirers in the event of a merger, sale, or restructure — under the same Privacy Policy or one no less protective.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data while your account is active and for up to 90 days after account closure for backup and dispute purposes, after which it is purged. Some pseudonymized analytics may be retained indefinitely. Order, tax, and legal records are retained as long as required by law.

9. Security

We use TLS in transit, encryption at rest where supported, scoped service keys, row-level security in our database, and per-user tokens. However, no system is perfectly secure, and you use the Service at your own risk. You are responsible for keeping your password and connected-account credentials confidential.

10. Your Rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your account data at any time from your dashboard settings. California (CCPA) and EU/UK (GDPR) residents have additional rights, including the right to opt out of any “sale” of personal information (we do not sell personal information). To exercise these rights, email marketing@teigenjheckel.com. Buyers can request access to or deletion of order information by contacting the Seller or Kommandr OS.

When you delete your account, we cascade-purge data from user-keyed tables, anonymize referral records that must be retained for tax accounting, cancel any active Stripe subscription, and delete your authentication record. We retain a hashed deletion-audit-log row for up to 7 years as proof of compliance with state data-retention rules.

Tax info (W-9): if you participate in our referral program and earn $600+/year, we collect your Form W-9 information. The full Tax ID is encrypted at rest; only the last 4 digits are stored unencrypted for verification. We use this to issue Form 1099-NEC per IRS rules.

11. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

12. International Transfers

We operate in the United States. If you access the Service from elsewhere, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

13. Changes

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be announced in the dashboard and via email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

14. Contact

Questions or requests: marketing@teigenjheckel.com. For privacy requests about a specific order, contact that Seller. See also our Terms of Service.
